Known configuration questions
If you already know them, include temperature conditions, contact material preferences, vacuum or deaeration needs, discharge method, downstream handling, cleaning, or access requirements. Leave any item open when it is still under discussion.
If the specification is incomplete
A starting brief can still open the conversation. State what is known, what is uncertain, and what you want to confirm before a machine is proposed.
